Yes, yes y'all we back! Today is a good day, because we introduce you to mr. Lil' ½ Dead. He is one of the legendary mc's-singers from LBC (also he his a cousin to Daz Dillinger & Snoop Dogg too), who realesed only two albums in Priority Records. Both of them are classics for me with great production & vocals by Lil' HD. Check it out quickly!

4 comments: Jebril Sat Sep 19, 10:36:00 AM EDT This is a surprisingly gewd album (considering I didn't really like the last one too much)I've only heard it three times and so far I really like the cover of Look Who's Talking and two other songs, Rest In Peace is awesome.

- Dillinger Four are fast and tough, but they lace their songs with deadly sharp wit and dangerously catchy melodies. They don't screw around with wanking guitar solos and they don't whine about their girlfriends or girls they wish they had, or girls they wish they hadn't had. In both their tight, blustery sound and in their socio-politically.

Dillinger Four is an influential[1]Americanpunk rock band formed in 1994 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They have released four full-length studio albums. Since 1996,[2] the band's lineup has been Patrick Costello on bass guitar and vocals, Erik Funk and Bill Morrisette[3] on guitars and vocals, and Lane Pederson on drums.[4]
History[edit]
The group was formed 1994 by guitarist Erik Funk and bassist Patrick Costello. The original lineup, which also included guitarist Sloan Lorsung and drummer Lane Pedersen, released the 1995 debut 7' single Higher Aspirations: Tempered and Dismantled. Lorsung was replaced by Bill Morrisette before the 1996 followup EP The Kids Are All Dead. A series of subsequent singles and compilation appearances were later collected on 1999's This Shit is Genius.
In the mid-'90s, the band was signed to California hardcore label Hopeless Records on the strength of what Hopeless founder Louis Posen called its 'international following.'[5] The label released Dillinger Four's first two full-length records, 1998's Midwestern Songs of the Americas and 2000's Versus God. The band moved to Fat Wreck Chords for 2002's Situationist Comedy and 2008's Civil War.[6]
Funk founded and co-owned the influential Minneapolis music venue Triple Rock Social Club, which opened in 1998 and closed in 2017. Dillinger Four played the venue's final concert in November 2017.[7]
Honors and awards[edit]

Dillinger Four has been honored with a star on the outside mural of the Minneapolis nightclub First Avenue,[8] recognizing performers that have played sold-out shows or have otherwise demonstrated a major contribution to the culture at the iconic venue.[9] Receiving a star 'might be the most prestigious public honor an artist can receive in Minneapolis,' according to journalist Steve Marsh.[10]
